This Power Rack is a wall mounted unit that folds away against the wall saving you space when it is not in use! This allows you to park your car in your garage for example, or to save you valuable floor space when in your home, when you are not training with it! The AFL Fold Away Rack can also be used in a gym/box/training facility that requires flexibility with their floor space, and who may be more limited for floor space!

The 2.4FAR-CF & 2.8FAR-CF (114.5cm depth) models have arms that fold both outward OR 1 inward, 1 outward OR both arms can also fold both inwards but will overlap to a degree and will not position flush against the wall. The wall width required, is as follows for this model:
-Both arms folding outwards requires 3.60m of wall space
-1 arm inward, 1 arm outward requires 2.47m of wall space
-Both arms can also fold both inwards requiring 125cm of wall space but the arms will overlap and not fold flush against the wall
The 2.4FAR-G & 2.8FAR-G (53.7cm depth) models have arms that both fold inward so you only need a wall width of 125cm.
A hinge and machined pin system allows you to quickly and easily set up the Power Rack in a matter of seconds for training purposes, while providing you with super solid stability – see video below!
The steel used for the vertical uprights and horizontal beams (cross-members) are 60mm x 60mm (2.31mm) 11 gauge steel, which provides a super sturdy feel when used as a squat stand, pull-up/muscle-up rig, or power rack! The vertical uprights are drilled on a CNC machine and have Westside type hole spacing through the bench/pull area (2.5cm pitch), and the rest of the upright has a 5 cm pitch hole spacing above and below. The horizontal crossmember beams also have holes at a 5cm pitch along it’s entire length!
All steel is spray painted black for a durable, good looking finish. You can also customise your colour for an additional top up fee! Please request a quote for the any additional colour finishing! You can combine this Fold Away Rack with a number of accessories, such as our Dips “Buffalo Bars” and Safety Spotter Arms.
NB – Please check that the wall, that is used for mounting to, is strong enough to take the stress when using Safety Spotter Arms, as this will place additional stress and strain on the wall.
NB – If you want to perform kipping movements on the adjustable pull-up/muscle-up bar, such as KIPPING pull-ups, KIPPING muscle-ups, KIPPING toes to bar, then you will need to take our CF model which measures a depth of 114.5cm from the Pull-up/Muscle-up bar to the wall. Our G model is for those who will be using it as a Power/Squat Rack and who will complete STRICT pull-ups/muscle-ups/toes to bar on the pull-up bar.

Finish:
Comes standard in Black for INDOOR USE. If you want the unit to be installed OUTSIDE in the elements, we suggest that you Galvanise and paint for outdoor use, especially if you are at the coast! Galvanising and painting for the outdoors is NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST. Please REQUEST A QUOTE for this! Please note that Galvanising gives a “rougher” and less “refined” finish, due to the dunking of the product and coating it! Drainage holes also need to be added to all items when galvanising, due to the dunking process. If you would like to select a paint colour other than Black, please REQUEST A QUOTE
IMPORTANT FEATURES OF THE WALL MOUNTED FOLD AWAY RACK (FAR) RANGE
1) HEAVY GAUGE SOUTH AFRICAN STEEL & HARDWARE
The Fold Away Rack range uses heavy-duty 60mm x 60mm (2.31mm) 11 gauge steel uprights with M16 heavy duty bolt hardware. Our hinge system is mechanically bent and laser cut to ensure maximum accuracy and strength. Our pin holes are accurately drilled with a computerised CNC machine to ensure maximum accuracy and strength.
2) CHOICE OF RACK DEPTH
Our Fold Away Rack is available in two depths, namely 114.5cm and 53.7cm.
The G version (53.7cm) will fold both inwards OR outwards flush against the wall.
Our CF version (114.5cm) will fold flush against the wall when folding outwards OR with 1 arm inwards and the other inwards. See the wall space requirements above! This will maximise your space when folded away. Both arms can be folded in but they will overlap and will not fold flush against the wall when both arms fold inwards.

3) SPACE SAVING
When folded away, the Fold Away Rack (FAR) takes up less than 10 cm of space OFF THE WALL. This enables you to have a world class power rack and pull-up/muscle-up bar in your home/garage, saving you space in your home or enabling you to park your car in the garage at night! The Fold Away Rack can also be used in smaller boxes/gyms/sports facilities to save on space or create greater flexibility with their floor usage when the FAR is folded away! To further maximise your space see our wall storage options to open up space in your home/garage/box/gym/sports training facility! Our machined Pins (16mm) quickly and conveniently lock the rack in either an Open or Closed Position. These strong machined zinc coated locating pins provide great grip for extracting and positioning!
4) COMPATABILITY WITH ADD ON FEATURES
The Fold Away Rack Range is compatible with all our accessories and add on features, such as our Safety Spotter Arms and Dips Bars “Buffalo Bars”). The Fold Away Rack is a great base on which to build your home gym/box/sports facility especially if you are limited for space and/or need a flexible floor area! You can add on accessories to grow your gym, as your budget allows in the future!
5) FINISH, QUALITY CONTROL AND WARRANTY
All aspects of the manufacturing process (cuts, welding, laser cutting, drilling, painting) are checked individually at each step of the process to ensure that product quality, integrity and finish are of a high standard. Each part of the final product is again inspected for quality control purposes once it is completed. The same process is repeated before the product is packaged for shipping purposes. We have a 1 year warranty on defective workmanship if properly installed!.
6) EASY SET-UP AND INSTALLATION
Each unit comes with the following standardised parts – One (1) Fast adjusting Pull-up/Muscle-up bar and one (1) pair of machined locating pins; Four (4) wall mounting and hinge units; one (1) pair of J-cups; four (4) horizontal arms (cross-members) and their four (4) machined locating pins; and two (2) vertical uprights (2.4m OR 2.8m). The unit installs easily on a wall by means of appropriate raw/chemical or other bolt system, depending on your wall material and integrity! To avoid serious injury please ensure that your wall is strong enough to withstand the forces involved (especially when combined with our Safety Spotter Arms and Dips Bar “Buffalo Bars”). Please ensure that the installation is done correctly to avoid injury and damaging of the equipment!

Shipping:
We currently have a week lead time on your order before shipment. Once your product is safely packed, shipment will take 3-4 days, from dispatch to arrival. We will email you tracking details for your shipment once it is dispatched!
