Always Fit League (AFL) was started in 2015 by 4x’s CrossFit Games competitor and 2nd Fittest Man on Earth (Men 40-45 years, in 2018), Dave Levey. Dave started www.alwaysfitleague.com (AFL) in 2015 for a 6 month online functional fitness competition which successfully ran monthly from October 2015 to end February 2016. Always Fit League (AFL) has since evolved from this initial online competition.
In 2016 Dave formalised his competitors programming under Always Fit League offering world class programming for those wanting to make it to the highest level of competition. Dave qualified as a Biokineticist in 2001 and completed his Masters in Human Movement Science and as such has over 20 years of experience in programming for all population groups. The effectiveness of the AFL programming has been demonstrated over the years, with none other than 8 CrossFit Games appearances between AFL athlete’s Dave Levey and Eva Thornton, including Eva’s 2018 1st place Finish in the Women’s 50-54 year category! AFL offers programming for competitors through to the Normal Everyday Man/Women on the street!
Always Fit League has now started to manufacture and produce world class gym equipment locally here in South Africa! At high school, Dave took Metal Work as a subject, and while growing up on a farm he made much of his own equipment to train with. Dave’s long time dream of starting to manufacture high quality and locally made gym equipment has now been realised. Always Fit League has partnered with a world class engineering firm, Bronscor Manufacturing, to bring you a variety of quality training/gym equipment!
Always Fit League will also be retailing Supplements, partnering with Dave’s long time sponsors Nutritech, to bring you World Class supplementation.
Always Fit League will also be retailing other Apparel, Gear and Accessories that fall within the lifestyle and culture of Always Fit League athletes!
Always Fit League will also be continuing with it’s initial venture, online functional fitness competitions, to help motivate and keep you fit, year round!
